在新宿的君悅飯店一樓。我們吃的是午餐,點了兩份九千元的餐,但有換了主菜,另外點了用特別京都的北部天橋立的葡萄枝幹所燻烤的牛排,而且有兩吃,沾醬也非常好吃,所以以中午來說真的是吃得滿飽的…一開始有一種在吃日本料理的錯覺,因為加了算非常多的日本元素在裡面,醬汁很特別,屬於成熟有深度的味道,主甜點還不錯,但甜了一點,副甜點就真的還好,但有一個味道就像台灣的雙胞胎呢。整體來說,也許真的為了迎合日本人的口味,畢竟是開在日本,所以在民眾的排行榜米其林二星的餐廳裡他會高居第一,如果喜歡和風洋食的人也許可以試試看吧。

The restaurant is on the first floor of the Hyatt Regency Hotel, and is very easy to find if you are taking Odeio subway line and get off at the Tokyo Municipal Station. The reason we chose this restaurant is because it is a 2 stars, achieved the highest rating from Tabelog (4.15 overall), and appears on numbers of food preparation magazines. Its chef is the 3rd generation of Michelin 3 stars Troisgros family restaurant in Roanne, France. We ordered 2 x ¥9,000 lunch menu with special order of grilled beef with grape tree branches from Amanohashidate in Kyoto Prefecture (¥12,000. for min 2 people). In general, the restaurant’s décor is reasonably high class and service is of very high standards, however, we thought it has quite a bit of Japanese elements in its cuisine. Despite the chef is a French, the management perhaps thoughts there is much broader market if it offers Japanese style French cuisine, but we were expecting a bit of more French traditional cuisine. Nonetheless, there is depth in both of steak sauces, and we did enjoy the main dish. Overall, if you like Japanese influenced French cuisine, this is the restaurant for you.
