可以網上預約,而且還可以先選好要吃哪一個套餐,既不用說日文又很快速。我們去的是二樓的Royal Mouriya,我們吃的是六甲牛(九千元)和有馬牛(一萬一千元)的套餐,前菜和濃湯都很不錯,牛肉是三分熟,六甲牛吃起來已經很柔嫩,再吃脂肪分布更多的有馬牛,可以說是嫩的不像話,但因為脂肪的分布更多,所以吃起來會覺得稍微油多了一點,但還是相當好吃,不過六甲牛肉已經很令人滿意了。

This is our second time had premium beef in Kobe and we picked this restaurant based on many recommendations from this Forum. It is very easy to make booking on Mouriya’ website. First you need to choose which one of their 3 restaurants you wish to go and then, choose one of their many special offers. Once it’s done, just wait for their email confirmation. We chose Royal Mouriya because no one has written about it, and we would like to see what the décor looks like at its premium class restaurant. It is on the second floor, just right below its Sannomiya restaurant on 3F. It has a reasonable big sign on the building but a relatively small entrance. We ordered one 六甲コース&ホタテの貝柱Teppanyaki (¥9,000) and one有馬コース&ホタテの貝柱Teppanyaki (¥11,000), and wanted to see what the beef taste like from 2 different farms. When we were brought to the counter seats, 2 big chunk of meat with fabulous marble (intermuscular fat) throughout were presented to us first. We asked for medium rare to ensure the meat will really, really melt in our mouth in the shorter possible time, and indeed, every piece melted in seconds after taking 3 to 5 slow chews. In short this is the best Teppanyaki we ever had. And what’s the different between meat from六甲 and 有馬 meat has more marble, and therefore, melted one or two seconds faster in the mouth. However, with its ¥2,000 more on the price tag, we think that六甲 meat choice is more than sufficient to satisfy our taste buds.

在Westin飯店的一樓,就在空中展望庭園的旁邊。選這家餐廳是因為我們沒吃過地中海料理,而且在美食網上的評分也非常的高,所以決定試試看。我們點了一份一萬兩千元和一萬五千元的餐,裝潢很高級也很美,材料也很不錯,第一道開胃菜特別的好吃,主菜的牛排的熟度煎的也很準確、好吃,但有點可惜的是東西的調味真的太醎了一點,不知道地中海菜是不是就該這樣…但其實他是被分類在義大利料理裡面,所以還是比較推薦東京米其林二星的ASO。

The restaurant is on the first floor of the Westin Hotel, where it is right next to the Floating Garden Observatory. We booked this restaurant is because we had never tried Mediterranean cuisine before, and it is so close to the Floating Garden night sightseeing, and rated 4.4 in the Italian cuisine category on the Gourmeria Kobe website. Although the dinner menu starts from around Yen6000, we ordered ¥12,000 (Grilled beef fillet w/garlic bread crumbs) and¥15,000 Stella Maris (Sauteed beef fillet and foie gras w/French mushrooms) because we were really hungry after spent a day at Universal Studio Japan. The décor and quality of foods are both of high standards. The appetizers were particularly outstanding, however, we found that the taste is a bit heavy as the course progresses. We are not sure that this is a norm in this style of cuisine. The overall dinning experience is good and we thought its cuisine is similar to Italian style. If this is the case, then we would recommend the 2 stars Restaurant Aso in Daikanyama, Tokyo, unreservedly.
